Why we use Sakura Chicken in our dishes
Our confinement packages feature a delicious variety of chicken dishes. Expect tasty delights such as: Steamed Royal Chicken With Ginger & Garlic Sauce, Baked Herbal Chicken Roulade and Korean Ginseng Chicken Tonic Soup.
As an added benefit for postpartum mummies, we use Sakura Chicken in the preparation of these dishes.
What are Sakura Chickens?
Using advanced farming technology, Sakura Chickens are reared in a modernised and environmentally-friendly farm.
Their meat is more tender and juicier, which is a result of being raised in a temperature-controlled, sterile environment with ample space to move about.
Sakura Chickens are fed with Kee Song’s proprietary lactobacillus feed, enhancing their immune systems naturally without the use of antibiotics and growth hormones. Sakura Chicken also tend to have less cholesterol and saturated fat, which makes them a better choice.
*Sakura Chicken won the Merit for Innovation Award (2009-2011) from Singapore Institute of Food Science and Technology’s Food Product Awards.

What is Lactobacillus?
Lactobacillus, or friendly bacteria, is a natural way of combating harmful bacteria. After 30 years of scientific research in Japan, a pure strain of Lactobacillus was specially cultured for Sakura Chicken.
Using an organic farming process, it is introduced into the diet of chickens reared in a controlled environment under the strict supervision of a team of qualified professionals.
With these benefits in mind, we incorporate Sakura Chicken in our meals to provide the best ingredients for our customers during their postpartum confinement recovery.
